Obama derangement syndrome

Posted in Uncategorized on March 30, 2009 by keepthechange08

Mrs. Keepthechange08 pointed out something very important to me the other day, something I have thought a lot about since she did:

Look at how virulently the left hated George Bush.  Rush coined the phrase “Bush derangement syndrome” to describe the absolute unhinged hatred that Liberals displayed towards President Bush, flying into a fit of rage at the sight of him or the mere mention of his name.  Well, I realized that I’ve been guilty of the same thing in regards to Obama.

Now, let’s not be confused here, I abosutely LOATHE that miserable sonofabitch and am anxiously counting down the days until we can end the abomination of his “presidency”.  However, I don’t want to foam at the mouth like a rabid dog every time somebody points out the ugly and inconvenient fact that he exists, so I’m going to do my best to keep as tight a lid on my emotions as I can and not sink to the levels that “tolerant” Liberals do.  That is, in part, why I haven’t been as active with this blog the last couple weeks as I was early on, and why, moving forward, I’m going to try to pick and choose my moments more carefully.  Fear not readers, I will continue to provide a beacon of light in the darkness of the Neo-Soc movement (like that?  I just made it up, think I’ll continue to use it to see if I can get it to stick).

The House shreds the Constitution

Posted in Uncategorized on March 20, 2009 by keepthechange08

Yesterday, in an act that was every bit as terrifying as it was appalling, the House voted by a margin of 328-93 to tax contractually obligated retention bonuses received by executives of companies that received at least 5 Billion in federal welfare  bailout money.  The driving motivation behind this- AIG’s payment of 165 Million in retention bonuses…or, for those of you who like to deal in hard numbers, 1/13 of 1% of the money they received.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/20/business/20bailout.html?_r=1&hp

even more disturbing is the Senate version of this bill, which would reduce the cutoff at 100 MILLION…

Part of the Democrat agenda that went ignored through TARP last fall and the “stimulus” bill in February was the concept of limiting executive compensation.  Knowing that they couldn’t do it openly and brazenly, these devious miscreants have taken to loudly beating the drum of class warfare to gin up animosity against these “theiving bastards” and pave the way towards recapturing this money through unConstitutional targeted, punitive taxation.

For clarification:

Article 1, section 9 of the Constitution which reads in part,

“No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.”

…and what exactly IS a bill of attainder…?

“A bill of attainder was a legislative act that singled out one or more persons and imposed punishment on them, without benefit of trial. Such actions were regarded as odious by the framers of the Constitution because it was the traditional role of a court, judging an individual case, to impose punishment.”

So, what we have here, in effect, is Congress overstepping their boundries and taking the first step to determining what fair compensation is.  Today, they’ve decided that these executives have been overpayed.  Tomorrow, they may decide that YOU’RE being overpayed.

People, if you ever needed a more clear example of how completely out of touch with reality our elected officials have become, this is it.  They are openly and defiantly trampling the Constitution.  They know that they’re playing to the lowest common denominator of our society and they know that most of you are too cowed or ignorant to act on it or even know any better.  They count on you being too lazy and too unconcerned with how this will play against your daily life to stand up to them and say “ENOUGH!”  This is the Obama agenda people, right there in plain sight.  This goes hand-in-hand with his whole “spread the wealth” line of bullshit.  The idea isn’t to make all of us equally successful, it’s to make us all equally miserable and equally dependent on government.

People…listen to me…THIS IS WRONG!!!  You have to stand up to this, you have have to fight this.  If you rollover and allow this to happen, you just further empower them to continue down this path.  This time, they slide something less open and obvious by you…what’s next?

BARACK OBAMA…for his unforgettable role as outraged advocate for the people in “How DARE AIG live up to the contractual obligations we knew about when we gave it $178B of your tax dollars!”

Let’s set the record straight right here- I don’t give a winged rodent’s rear about AIG paying out $165M in contractualy obligated bonuses to the excutives in it’s Financial Products division.  First of all, if these people are denied their bonuses, does that make MY life better?  Does that money somehow make it’s way to me?  No.  Second, are we supposed to believe that Congress just gave them this money without examining their books or contractual obligations, internal as well as external?  If not (and honestly, would it surprise you if they were incompentent enough not to have), then they are guilty of horrifically gross negligence.  Third, these contracts are legally binding.  To not honor them would have opened AIG up to a torrent of litigation that would have potentially made the amount paid in bonuses look like chump change.  No, this is nothing more then Obama playing the ‘have nots’ against the ‘haves’, and doing his typically transparent shitty job of it.

Now, let’s understand something.  The job of the Financial Products division is to make money for the company.  How do they do that…?  Through making investments and offering packages to investors.  Where do they make investments?  What are these investments built around?  What has happened to the underpinning that these investments have been built on?  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this out and remove all thoughts of devious culpability.

On top of this, we have Congressional clowns cueing up to play the class warfare game.  We have this gem from Senator Grassley:

now, that’s pretty damn bad in and of itself.  However, it pails in comparison to this:

now THAT’s scary.  Here, you have an elected official threatening to confiscate what they determine to be undeserved income through taxation.  Stop and think about the ramifications of that for a minute.  This sets an incredibly dangerous precedent by which the government will be able to determine what an appropriate level of income is.  Now, I realize that I may have strayed away from the original topic of this post for a minute, but this has to be addressed.  See, these idiots are counting on YOU, the American people, to be either too busy shopping at Wal-Mart or watching American Idol to notice what they say…or, if you do…they’re counting on you to get all fired up and scream “YOU TELL ‘EM!!!  GET THOSE GREEDY THIEVING BASTARDS!!!”  Class envy and warfare are the trump cards in the hand that the Obama administration is playing.  They want you to believe that somehow your life will be better if there is an equal disburesment of pain and suffering.  But, like I said earlier, think about it.  If some rich guy loses his money…does it make your life better?  Are you getting it?  No.  If some high level executive at a Fortune 500 company gets canned, are you going to get pulled off the loading dock and be placed there instead?  No.

Don’t fall for it.  For the time being, this is America, the land of the greatest opportunity on Earth.  You can go as far as your drive, talent, and ambition take you.  The only thing government is going to do is hinder you.  Knocking other people down to your level does NOT lift you up.  Don’t allow yourself to be swayed by the bilge seeping forth from the Obama White House.

Hey gang,

I know it’s been a few days since I’ve put up anything new, but between being busy at work and kicking up the training for my black belt prep I’ve been balls-to-the-wall busy.  I also took a few days off from following the process, as it can be exhausting at times.  However, Dear Leader has really been showing us how much of a douchebag he is and how completely in over his head he is, so there will be plenty more goodies in the weeks to come.  Hang tight, I promise to keep you all entertained.

Is the Obamagasm ending?

Through the revelations of multiple sources, one might easily determine that the slobbering love affair is rapidly coming to an end, and Obama is now just a president.  And sure, his approval rate may still be at 60% (for now) but if you cut through the obvious numbers you’ll see that he has lost significant ground with Independets since the end of January, and those are the people he needs most.

But, let’s examine some examples of the thrill being gone, shall we?

http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSTRE5294HH20090310

key piece-

“but we’ve had muddled messages and the American public does not know. They feel they don’t know what’s going on, and their reaction then is to absolutely pull back”

– so, maybe Obama isn’t such a great communicator after all?

then, we have this piece from Howard Fineman, demeted and sad though it may be, it still smacks of the reality of Obama’s situation-

http://www.newsweek.com/id/188565

Fineman dance on the edge of credibility at several points, but perhaps on none as closely as he does this-

“Swimming in the middle, he’s denounced as a socialist by conservatives, criticized as a polite accommodationist by government-is-the-answer liberals, and increasingly, dismissed as being in over his head by technocrats.”

the only place Obama finds himself in the middle is on the middle ground between socialism and communism.

Here’s the deal gang.  Everyday, those of us who pay attention (and it would seem that an increasing number of people do) read headlines about more companies and banks failing and jockeying for their place at the bailout trough.  Perhaps, just perhaps, we’re not all as dumb as this administration thought we were- some of us can even walk AND chew gum at the same time.  We understand where the government gets it’s money, and no, it ain’t from their paper route or working the graveyard shift weekends at the Exxon station to pick up a few extra bucks.  No, we’re able, much to their chagrin, to put 2 & 2 together and actually come up with FOR, as in our tax dollars are being used FOR propping up these failing organizations that have been poorly run or have made bad decisions or investments.  Hey, that’s the way the world works.  You make a mistake, you pay for it.  Why should our elected officials expect to be immune from this?

OOPS!
